Project "Play as a tool for child development"

2025-1-BG01-KA122-SCH-000319812

01.06.2025 - 30.11.2026

Kindergarten No. 131 "Flora" has been approved under the program for educational institutions to participate in Key Activity 1 "Educational Mobility for Citizens," School Education sector of the Erasmus+ program, co-financed by the European Union with the project "Play as a tool for child development" with registration number 2025-1-BG01-KA122-SCH-000319812.

The aim of the project is to gain a new perspective on the use of games and to integrate the "learning through play" approach into
kindergarten. By using new techniques, we aim to improve childrens self-expression skills and encourage their personal development. Our idea is to incorporate play as a method of interaction and learning, so that it allows for the sustainable development of our children and the unfolding of their potential with all possible means and resources, placing the child in the position of an active participant.

With the implementation of the project, we will achieve:

- Establishing sustainable links with other European institutions, sharing experience and good practices, developing
skills for international cooperation

- Consolidating the strategy for applying an innovative approach to presenting integrated educational
content, thereby enhancing the pedagogical process

- Improvement of teachers professional practice and successful application of the "learning through play" approach

- Introduction of innovative teaching methods and creation of methodologies for their application

Between August 11 and 16, part of the team at Kindergarten No. 131 "Flora" participated in Erasmus+ training at Language Campus, Tenerife. The theme "Enough Theory, Lets Play! Fun Games for Developing the Whole Child" immersed us in new ideas and practices on how play can be a powerful tool for the development of every child.

We believe that what we learned will help us develop the multiple intelligences of children and make their everyday lives even more colorful and inspiring!
